Dominic Lachapelle, is the brains (and the brawn) behind OrgWell.

Dom has a background in business ethics, and organizational health and well-being, and has amassed extensive experience as a business owner, and corporate executive. Through a blend of empirical research with real-world business acumen, he continues to develop a no-nonsense approach to organizational wellness, and is leaving an indelible mark on organizations in the process (including several within Canada’s federal government). Balancing the scales between employee and employer responsibilities, he’s on a mission to drive organizational performance by creating the optimal conditions for employees to get sh*t done.

Dom goes beyond the clichés of yoga-at-lunch, mindfulness, and resilience training. He’s committed to pushing boundaries and redefining employee and organizational wellness. As with this blog, Dom is about breaking free from the conventional to craft a balanced approach that resonates with both (reasonable) individuals and (ethical) organizations. It's about identifying the barriers to employee engagement and thriving and addressing them in a fair, methodical, and no non-sense way. These are the honest and transparent approaches that lead to corporate cultures that transcend the ordinary, spark genuine enthusiasm, and propel organizational performance. Join OrgWell on a journey where wellness isn't just a checkbox; it’s a strategic imperative that can revolutionize the very fabric of organizational life.

My mission

(First side of the coin) To share knowledge, experience and best practices that help leaders set conditions within their organizations that allow employees to contribute to their fullest potential.

(Other side of that coin) To share proven strategies and mindsets that help individuals outperform at work.

My vision

Organizations, large and small, and on every continent, are creating and putting out more value in the world by creating the conditions in which employees are optimally supported and engaged; whilst employees around the world understand what healthy and supportive workplaces look like, and are eager to contribute to their corporate mission.
